Senator Theodore Freylinghuysen

Senator Freylinghuysen was against the removel of the Cherokee Indians. He gave a great speech on letting the Indians stay during a debate in Congress about the subjecton April 8, 1930. His speech was effective, the bill only was passed by one vote. Even though it did pass, I think he tried his best to help the Cherokee.
